Managing Director
Alex is one of only 101 registered ‘SiLCs’ (Specialist in Land Condition) in the UK. He is experienced in many aspects of contaminated land consultancy. He has a degree in civil engineering, and is a Chartered Engineer, with 21 years experience in both geotechnical and geo-environmental investigation and consultancy. He joined Nicholls Colton in 1987, working as a junior geotechnical engineer. Today he is the Director responsible for Nicholls Colton Geotechnical. In addition he is the Director responsible for Health & Safety within the Nicholls Colton & Partners Group, as well as being joint owner and Managing Director for Nicholls Colton & Partners Ltd, with Ian Elliot.
Ian Elliot DMS, MIAT
Managing Director
Ian joined Nicholls Colton in 1986 as a technician and has worked on civil engineering and construction sites throughout the UK and undertaken bridge and pavement investigations both in the UK and abroad.
Ian is the Financial Director, Company Secretary and the Director responsible for Nicholls Colton Testing, as well as being joint owner and Managing Director for Nicholls Colton & Partners Ltd, with Alex Warwick.
Ian has a Diploma in Business Management Studies (DMS) from Leicester University.
